Mavina Hannina Palya

15 - 20 Wild Mangoes / Kaadu Mavina Hannu
3 - 4 large Lemon sized Jaggary
1 - 1.5 Chilly powder
Pinch of Turmeric powder
4 - 5 tsp finely grated Coconut
Salt to taste
1 tsp Black Gram seeds
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 - 2 Red Chilly pieces
8 - 10 Curry leaves
2 tsp Oil


Wash the mango fruits and cut them into medium thin long sized pieces as shown in the picture below.

Put mustard seeds, black gram seeds, red chilly pieces and oil in a thick bottomed vessel. Once it starts spluttering, add curry leaves, chopped mango fruits and mix them well. Add salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, jaggary and around 2 cups of water and cook them well by covering a lid.

Once it is cooked, add grated coconut and mix well. Keep the palya in low flame for about 5 mins. It goes well with Rice.

ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ಹೇ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಡು ಮಾವಿನಹಣ್ಣು ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲ ಅದುಗೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾಡು ಮಾವಿನ ಹಣ್ಣು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರ ತೋತಾಪುರಿ, ರಸಪುರಿ, ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾ, ಬಾದಾಮಿ ತರದ ಹಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಏನಾದರು ಮಾಡೋಕೆ ಟ್ರೈ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾ ಈ ತರದ ಅಡುಗೆಗಳು??
