Pani Puri

Ingredients for Pani:
1 tsp roasted Cumin seed powder
1/2 tsp Coriander seed powder
1/4 tsp Pepper powder
Grape sized Tamarind
Small Grape sized Jaggary
Small piece of Ginger
10-15 Ajwain seeds / Oma
1 tsp Chat Masala / Chunky Chat
7-8 strands of Coriander leaves
1 Green Chilly
6-7 Mint leaves
Salt to taste

Ingredients for Garnishing:
1/4 Onion
4-5 strands of Coriander leaves
1/4 carrot
1/4 cup Masala Puri Gravy
1/4 cup soaked Green Peas / frozen Green Peas

Other Ingredients:
18 - 20 Chat Puris
1/4 cup Masala Puri Gravy

Recipe:

Grind all the pani ingredients except chat masala into smooth paste by adding little amount of water. Add sufficient amount of water and filter(around 1.5 cups of water). Add chat masala, salt, little amount of chopped coriander leaves and mix well. (Instead MDH Pani puri powder can be used to make pani.)

Cook green peas by adding little amount of water and salt. Chop onion, coriander leaves into small pieces. Grate the carrot.
Take 6 puffed Chat puris and poke a small hole in the center of each puri. Add 4-5 cooked green peas to each puri. Garnish each puri with little amount of chopped coriander leaves, onion and grated carrot as shown in the picture below.

Take little amount of gravy (Prepare the gravy as mentioned in Masala Puri recipe) and pour it to each puri. Dip it with pani and serve immediately.
